This painting was started in Illinois when I lived on the dairy farm back in 1992 and I kept the canvas and did not complete this painting until 1997. It was inspired by my childhood in the mountains of Virginia but also by the hidden waterways and covered bridges where I lived by the Illinois / Wisconsin border. The original was purchased in 2001 and is in a private collection.
